After closing for nearly six months for safety reasons, the new Xiushui market will open in the end of January 2005.
Xiushui market is a well-known market among foreign tourists. It is located at the corner of Xiushui East Road and Jianguomen Wai Road. The new building will have 8 floors, three of them underground, housing over a thousand stands and several hundred parking spaces.
The market is now selling its posts to vendors and training security guards.
